Our Company entered into a strategic venture to develop and operate a chain of multi-specialty tertiary hospitals in India to address the emerging need of specialized medical care in the country. It is anticipated that the chain will include hospitals in major metropolitan areas of India. The hospitals in the chain will be a 300 to 1000 beds multi-specialty tertiary hospitals and would provide world-class healthcare with a focus on:

 Some of the projects will also include ancillary services such as Biotech Research Centres,  service apartments for patients’ families, pharmacies,  medical mall, alternative medicine centre, and a nursing training institute.

It is anticipated that the new hospital chain will have close collaboration with both Insightec Ltd. and Gamida Cell Ltd, (both are held in various % by Elbit), in the field of clinical trials and research and close ties with several medical centers in Israel and abroad for telemedicine, specialty treatments and training of personnel.

The hospital of " Elbit India Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. " is at the planning phase and the  first hospitals are expected to open their gates in the during 2011. While planning the company is looking into some more opportunities and potential partners in metro cities and 2nd tier cities across  India.
